In our Maths Mastery lessons Reception have been counting and recognising numbers in different representations. We have been working on numbers 7,8,9 and 10. We have used different resources such as cubes and counters to make the numbers.
Jenson has been using his knowledge of numbers and different resources to represent numbers in the environment. He made different numbers and was very proud to show us what he had made.

In Nursery, we have been working on mark making. The children loved playing in the gloop, making lines, dots and circles. Some of the children even managed to write their own names. Others preferred writing outside with the chalks.
On our rainy day outside we had lots of fun splashing in puddles, making bridges and investigating floating and sinking. Some children decided they wanted to make a pond so dug a hole to be filled by the rain

Reception have been using our gross motor skills to climb, jump and move through obstacles in different ways.
