Camping fun

During the week, some of our children said they wanted to have a camping day in school. When asked what kind of things they would like to do, they said, to have the tent out, to sing camp songs, to drink hot chocolate and to have a camp fire. On Friday, we had our camping day in EYFS. The children loved playing in the tent and were fantastic at taking turns in there. They enjoyed hot chocolate, camp songs and story time all together. We were not able to have a camp fire this week, but are hoping to be able to have one in our forest schools area soon. The children loved it, with one child saying "This was the best day ever!"
