Fundraising
Since September 2023 our amazing school community
has raised £20,613.74 for our chosen charities
We believe that fundraising is more than just raising money—it’s a crucial life lesson in compassion and responsibility. Our pupils engage with Lyfta to explore diverse communities worldwide, helping them understand the importance of supporting others both locally and globally. This aligns closely with our focus on British Values, highlighting the positive impact we can have on the lives of others in the decisions that we make.
We encourage our community to support these efforts and reflect on how fundraising teaches care, empathy, and global citizenship.
Each year we choose a charity as our 'charity of the year' for all schools in the trust. We commit to raising money together through different types of fun events and activities. As a school we also support a range of other charities through our ongoing work to think about the lives of others and how we can help. We believe this is an important part of understanding about the lives of others. We are forever grateful for the support of our community in thinking about others and helping us.
2025-26 Fundraising (Charity donations total £1989.14)
This year we will be supporting Winston's Wish - Bereavement Support for Children. More information about the charity can be found at Winston's Wish
The charity supports children across the UK who are grieving the death of someone important to them. They offer different services, advice and support for families at incredibly difficult times.

We have loved taking part in a Colour Run and creating our own Wish Garden. Children have created a space to reflect, be calm and talk together with painted pebbles, a fairy garden, hanging lanterns, different shrubs and flowers and large stones to sit on As children donated they made a wish in the Wishing Well. We can't wait to see how our garden continues to grow and where more wishes can be made in our wishing well. We are proud to share that we raised £1099.99 for Winston's Wish.

We have also raised money for other charities with events in school.
Royal British Legion £473.45
Children in Need £122
Save the Children £103.70
Red Nose Day £190
