Maths in Reception

This week, we wanted to show you all of the fantastic Maths work we have been doing. We have been counting up to and back from 20, ordering numbers to 20, practicing number formation by writing in snow (icing sugar) and making numbers out of unifix cubes. Also, we have been practicing using weighing scales and building towers using the 3D shapes. We have learnt the names of some 3D shapes, including cube, cone, sphere and cylinder. We can identify these shapes when looking around the classroom and outside.
